Our Laser Technology
At Rejuv U, we use the Quanta EVO — a medical-grade, Health Canada–approved laser equipped with three advanced wavelengths. This technology is extremely rare to find in most clinics and offers unmatched versatility, precision, and comfort. Because your skin and safety are our top priorities, we chose a system that delivers exceptional results every single time.
What Our Laser Can Do for You
Hair Removal
Our laser uses both Alexandrite (755 nm) and Nd:YAG (1064 nm) wavelengths to deliver fast, precise, and comfortable hair removal. Alexandrite is the gold standard for treating fine, lighter hair that many lasers struggle to target, while Nd:YAG safely and effectively treats deeper skin tones. This combination allows us to treat a wide range of clients with outstanding results.
Skin Rejuvenation
Using advanced laser energy, we help restore smoother texture, refine pores, even out tone, and revive dull skin. This treatment boosts overall skin health and leaves you with a glowing, refreshed complexion.
Pigmented Lesions
Target unwanted pigmentation from acne scarring, sun damage, or aging. Our laser precisely breaks up pigment to reveal a brighter, more even skin tone.
Vascular Lesions
Reduce redness with precision targeting of vascular lesions. Our laser delivers focused energy to improve clarity and support healthier-looking skin.
Why Nd:YAG and Alexandrite lasers are better than IPL for laser hair removal
One of the most important parts of successful laser hair removal is using the right device for your skin type and hair. Different lasers use different wavelengths that target the hair follicle in specific ways. While IPL (intense pulsed light) can reduce hair, true lasers like Nd:YAG and Alexandrite are generally considered safer, more precise, and more effective.
At Rejuv U, we chose Nd:YAG and Alexandrite technology for four main reasons:
1. Precision
Nd:YAG and Alexandrite lasers are much more precise in targeting hair follicles than IPL. This allows the energy to concentrate where it is needed most, reducing the risk of irritation or damage to the surrounding skin.
2. Effective on more skin and hair types
IPL is not suitable for all skin types and can be less effective on fine or lighter coloured hair. Nd:YAG lasers can safely and effectively treat all skin types, while Alexandrite lasers are excellent at targeting fine, lighter coloured hair.
3. Better for coarse hair
Coarse hair is often stubborn and harder to remove. Nd:YAG and Alexandrite lasers are powerful enough to target these thicker hairs more effectively than IPL, leading to smoother, longer lasting results.
4. Fewer risks
IPL uses a broad spectrum of light that is less precise and more easily absorbed by the skin, which can increase the risk of burns or other side effects. Nd:YAG and Alexandrite lasers are higher quality and more targeted, which means a safer, more comfortable treatment and a significantly lower risk to your skin.
At Rejuv U, we invested in one of the highest-quality lasers available so you can enjoy better results, fewer sessions, and a safer, more comfortable experience. Your skin deserves nothing less.
